Racial Justice training – 30th May

May 30 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm IST

NYCI’s Racial Justice training is an invitation to participants to explore, deepen and unpack your understanding of racism. Through critical analysis and personal reflection, it supports participants to realise ways that they can make a real difference.

Racial Justice is a lens through which we at NYCI approach our practice. At its heart it is about creating inclusive spaces in which people who experience racism can thrive and have a sense of belonging. It guides us in how we advocate on equitable outcomes for minority ethnic young people. Key to our understanding is an awareness of how wider social injustices impact on young people’s everyday lives. Racial justice is aligned with social justice, a core value of youth work practice. Key to its realisation is self-reflection, and a commitment to action within each person’s circle of influence. This training invites participants to join us on this journey
