Testing the Water: Sharing Stories of Water

November 20, 2023 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm GMT

Do you have access to drinking water in Ireland?”

This is a question asked by a young person in Malawi, in a recent conversation with a team from Trócaire. Water is something so basic to our everyday survival.  Where we have access to it, at the turn of a tap, we forget that having access to it is a human right.  We know that clean drinking water is not available to many people in Ireland, depending on where they are living and the circumstances of their lives.

We also know that climate change has radically changed people’s access to clean drinking water on a global scale.

Here, we invite a panel of voices in to share stories of water, to make connections with local and global stories of water, and to look at shared responses to these common issues.
