SPARK – Getting to Know… Local Creative Youth Partnerships Webinar

February 22 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm GMT

What are Local Creative Youth Partnerships or LCYPs? How does the youth work sector engage with their work? And how do they support inclusive practice with young people in their communities?

Join NYCI’s National Youth Arts Programme and a range of contributors from Local Creative Youth Partnerships to find out more about how they support collaboration, build new local relationships and provide greater opportunities for young people to experience the joy of creativity. Core to the work of LCYPs is the inclusion of children and young people aged 0 to 25 who may be experiencing marginalisation and a child / youth-centred approach which prioritises hearing and responding to the voice of the child/young person.

Initially piloted in 3 Education and Training Boards (Kerry ETB, Laois/Offaly ETB and Limerick/Clare ETB), there are now 7 Local Creative Youth Partnerships across the country with the addition of Cork ETB, Mayo / Sligo / Leitrim ETB, Galway / Roscommon ETB and Cavan / Monaghan ETB.

Would you like to get to know the work of the LCYPs? Come join the conversation!

Local Creative Youth Partnerships (LCYPs) are delivered under the Creative Youth Plan 2023-2027, part of the all-of-government Creative Ireland Programme. They are centred in local Education and Training Boards (ETBs) and receive funding and training supports from the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport & Media, the Department of Education and the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth
