As part of the learning from this course we want to understand the impact of the course from the perspective of the participants. To that end, there is an expectation that all participants will:

  • Fill out a short post-course survey to provide feedback on their experience of the course. This will directly follow the completion of the course.

No. You must sign up individually and you cannot register on behalf of anybody else. For fairness, we will have to limit the number of individuals from any one organisation who can register.

About CyberSafeKids

Established in 2015, CyberSafeKids is an Irish registered charity which works to empower children, parents, and teachers to navigate the online world in a safe and responsible manner. Our founders and staff have backgrounds in cybercrime investigation, forensic psychology, education, online child protection, academia, and the not-for-profit sector. We can see on a daily basis how technology plays an increasingly important and integral part of their daily lives, especially in the current situation. We want children and young people to be able to embrace the opportunities for learning and enjoyment that technology can deliver, but we must also equip them with the tools to stay safe and avoid harm.

About the Child Protection Programme

The NYCI Child Protection Programme supports and resources the youth work sector to meet its child safeguarding and child protection responsibilities. This is achieved through the provision of training, the development of resource materials, support and guidance, and advocacy. The programme is funded by the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth (DCEDIY).
